           The Marvin Wachman Fund for International Education
           A Division of the Foreign Policy Research Institute

Founded in 1990 as a division of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, 
the  Marvin  Wachman  Fund  is  dedicated  to  fostering  civic  and  
international literacy in the community  and in  the classroom.  Each 
year, we sponsor a History Institute  weeked for high school teachers
from around the country, a teach-in on a key issue in current affairs 
for students and teachers, and a dozen  public lectures throughout the 
year.  The  Foreign Policy Research Institute  publishes  Orbis, a 
quarterly  journal  of world affairs;  E-Notes,  a weekly  bulletin 
disseminated  by email to some  25,000 key  people in  85 countries;  
and Footnotes, a quarterly bulletin designed for teachers.
